You probably won't even remember them enough to recognize their names as they're talked about later on. They disappear off the face of the earth. The number one issue I have is with the game's story telling.Ĭharacters. The fact that I haven't seen a single person bring up the issues I'm about to talk about has made me feel crazy for the past week since I beat the game. That said I honestly feel like this game receives too much praise and its flaws are not discussed enough. It feels good to play, it looks beautiful, the soundtrack is hit and miss, and there's enough variation in gameplay to keep me interested. Owlboy is a good game deserving of praise. I entered the game as blind as a bat, so I like to think that my review is unbiased. I hadn't heard anything about the game until its release. I picked the game up a while ago on an impulse.
